PUTRAJAYA, March 29 (TMI) — Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today warned Barisan Nasional (BN) not to believe it would enjoy any guaranteed electoral victories, saying Pakatan Rakyat is an opposition unlike those from his days as prime minister.

“What is certain, it won’t be easy for BN to get two-thirds majority this time. The opposition now is not like that of the past, and the current situation is rather confusing,” Dr Mahathir was quoted as saying by Bernama Online today,

Last week, former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin predicted BN would have easy wins in Johor, Malacca and Pahang.

Daim had also forecast BN would lose five states in Election 2008, which the coalition did before it regained Perak a year later.

But the former finance minister also warned BN it faced uphill battles in other states, and described Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his team as “generals without soldiers”.

The next general election is not due until May 2013, but Najib is believed to be considering calling for one earlier, possibly in June or September.

Analysts says Najib, who took over from Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi in 2009 following the disastrous 2008 results, will need a return of BN’s traditional parliamentary supermajority to ensure he remains in power.

This grand son of the pariah from Kerala, the shenanigan Mahathir is now trying to be a prophet in the outcome of politics. What he is saying is during his tenure he was able to fool the people whereas the deceitful and corrupted scumbags and parasites from Umno are unable to do so that easily compared with what he did during his time.
He should therefore come right out in the open to tell the people of Malaysia that he has not retired from politics and that he is still very much involved in Malaysian politics. What he did not tell the people is the reason behind his involvement until his dieting breath, this is just to distract the people’s from probing into the many corruptions and atrocities he committed. Also to ensure that the useless son of his gets the chance to become the P.M. some day even though it is only an illusion.
Please remember you can fool the people only once but surely not twice, once bitten twice shy but do get involved with the coming GE and see why the outcome is. Please do.

The situation is not confusing at all. The rakyat is with Pakatan Rakyat now and we want BN out. Meanwhile, BN is using the EC as a means to stay in power. It is the rakyat versus BN – simple scenario.
